Coron Island Tour

May 11, 2007

(See attached file: coron island tour.jpg)

The Coron Island Tour is the typical tour being offered to tourist when in Coron Palawan. The tourist gets to visit the Northern Part of the Coron Island. This northern part of the island is the area that is being allowed for tourists.

It would be better to start the tour very early in the morning because there are many places to see and enjoy, and the wave of the sea is still calm. You will not notice the time you spend on one particular area because you are enjoying the place. Most of the time, one day is not enough to enjoy this northern part of Coron Island.

Here are some of the destination you can visit in the Coron Island Tour:
Siete Pecados Island (for snorkeling). Entrance Fee = PHP 75
Kalachuchi Beach/Kayangan Lake. Entrance Fee = PHP 200
Twin Peaks(for snorkeling). Entrance Fee = Free
Barracuda Lake. Entrance Fee = PHP 75
Twin Lagoon. Entrance Fee =Free
Banol Beach. Entrance Fee = PHP 100
Beach 91. Entrance Fee = PHP 100
Skeleton Wreck/Beach 69. Entrance Fee = PHP 100
CYC Island. Entrance Fee = Free

(Notice: The rate I posted here may not be updated, please comment for corrections. And, I am still confused on the way they name the beach such as Beach 91, Beach 69, etc. Therefore, I may be wrong in naming the proper
beach name. Please comment to correct me. Thanks!)

Here's the standard boat rate:

Small Boat (comfortable at 4 passengers) = PHP 1,350
Medium Boat (comfortable at 6 passengers) = PHP 1,500
Big Boat (comfortable at 10 passengers or more) = PHP 2,500

(Notice: Boat designs may vary, therefore the seating capacity will also vary. The number of passenger I put here is the comfortable number - not sitting too close to each other. )

I can help you to arrange a boat reservation for your Coron Island Tour.

You will pay the boat fee there at Coron. Consider this as my DIY (Do It Yourself) Travel Help to tourist like you and me.

Tip: You can save money in boat rental by joining group with others. This is one reason I put this site - so that I can put together different groups in one boat tour.

Just put a comment here and it will go directly to my email. From there I will contact you.
